About the Author/作者介绍： 愛爾蘭作家Colm Tóibín（柯姆．托賓）生於1955年，曾擔任記者，現為專職作家。1999年曾以The Blackwater Lightship入圍布克獎，2004年作品《大師》(THE MASTER)，甫出版便立刻引起各界注目，被譽為2004年美國書評人的最愛，也入圍英國布克獎，並獲得了紐約時報年度十大好書。
