Review
"In our service-driven bank environment, line managers must have well-trained employees to meet the needs of customers. This is a challenge for managers and the HRD function. This book addresses this issue head-on, and will likely become an essential part of our managers’ human resource tool kit."---Scientific American

"Most people get trained on-the-job anyway, so why not save a ton of money and do the training right? Jacobs and Jones show us how to do it by providing easy-to-understand information and guidance. Certain to be the standard for training managers who want to get the most impact while capturing the expertise of employees already on the payroll."---The New Yorker

"I have used this approach to structured OJT, and it produced great training results as promised. This book contains everything needed to implement effective OJT programs in all types of organizations, quickly and logically."---Rodger M. Lyman, Director, Employee Training, CompUSA, The Computer Superstore
