As Nikos begins his investigation, two British crime writers arrive on the island. Jason is an aspiring writer who sneaks into the launch party of the internationally bestselling Kitty Carson, with his first novel tucked under his arm. Unable to get anywhere near her, when he overhears Kitty telling her editor that she’s getting away for a bit to try and combat her writer’s block, he decided to book his flight to Athens and then on to Palassos in an attempt to strike up a friendship with her and convince her to help him get published.
As the two writers are thrown together in an unexpected way, another murder is committed on the island and Jason and Kitty are drawn into an investigation of their own. As they discover more about the island’s dark past and the current (largely ignored) drugs trade, what began as a diversion becomes a dangerous pursuit...

Stav Shere z lives and writes in West London. He is a journalist who also writes regularly for the cult music magazine COMES WITH A SMILE, and has worked at the BBC and numerous record/bookshops in his twenties. His interest in representation and the work of Charlotte Saloman began on his BA History of Art course at Leeds University and his passion for crime writing developed from watching way too many film noirs.
