About the Author/作者介绍： Scott Cooney is a young dynamo who has already launched and sold several successful green companies. Scott is an experienced ecopreneur who has started, grown, and sold three green businesses in the past four years, and is currently working on the development of two more. Most recently, he launched and published a comprehensive green business directory. Cooney interviewed several hundred ecopreneurs about their business and has a wealth of knowledge about many industries in the green business community. He has worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and has written about green business and has been the featured speaker on the subject at many events.
He co-founded the ReDirect Guide, a green business directory, in Salt Lake City, UT. He greened his home in Salt Lake City, including xeriscaping, an organic orchard, extra natural fiber insulation, a 1.8kW solar PV array, on-demand hot water, energy star appliances, and natural paints. He is a vegetarian, an avid cyclist, ultimate frisbee player, and surfer, and currently lives in the sunny Mission district in San Francisco.
