About the Author/作者介绍： Nick Hollo, BScArch (UNSW), BArch (Hons) (UNSW), DipBldgsc (Sydney University), is Deputy Executive Director at the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust. The Trust has the responsibility for remediating and conserving the heritage of a number of redundant Defence sites around Sydnety Harbour and opening them up to the public. He has worked at the Trust since the beginning of 2000, primarily involved in the preparation of its plans and designs. Previously, he worked on a broad range of urban design and planning projects ant the planning firm, Keys Young. Prior to that, Nick worked at the Energy Authority of New South Wales, developing programs to encourage energy conservationin building. As an architecture graduate, he helped build the Autonomous House at the University of Sydney. He taught architecture at the University of Sydney and at the Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria. Nick is also an artist. He has had many solo exhibitions since 2000 and his oil pastels are extensively used to illustrate the Trust’s publications.
