About the Author/作者介绍： 马琳•魏格曼-盖勒在加拿大安大略省的多伦多市长大，严寒的冬季让她成为一个喜欢窝在家里看书的女孩。她早约克大学取得了英语系的本科学位，又在多伦多大学互动饿了教育学位。她在被多伦多大学和东部商学院教书，随后又搬去了南加利福尼亚。现在，她在圣地亚哥的高中里教授英语和历史。她和丈夫周，女儿乔丹娜还有宠物猫咪摩尔生活在一起。 Marlene Wagman-Geller grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where the severity of its winters turned her into a life-long bibliophile. She received her B.A. in English from York University, and a teaching degree from the University of Toronto. She taught at North Toronto Collegiate and Eastern High School of Commerce before making the extreme sacrifice of moving to Southern California. Currently, she teaches high school English and history in San Diego. She lives with her husband, Joel, her daughter, Jordanna, and her cat, Moe.
