FACEBOOK FAIRYTALES: MODERN-DAY MIRACLES TO INSPIRE THE HUMAN SPIRIT

Book ID/图书代码: 06840008B30063

English Summary/英文概要: Reaching a milestone of 200 million active users, Facebook is rapidly becoming the Web’s dominant social ecosystem and an essential personal and business networking tool in the wired world. But what comes of these millions of connections? Stories.

Marriages, babies, business coups—everyday miracles to inspire the human spirit. Facebook is the modern day word of mouth and the outcome, in the short span of five years, has been an intricate web of amazing connections, the results of which have transformed people’s lives in ways they never imagined possible.

FACEBOOK FAIRYTALES will be a collection of roughly 30 of the most inspiring stories that have resulted from these “kismet connections.” The stories (about 2,000 words each) will be written in a third-person literary style with quotes from the subjects’ woven throughout and will emphasize the real-life characters’ personal struggles and triumphs. Readers will relate to these tales—re-ignited romances, adoptions, organ donations, business feats—and, at the same time, be charmed by that little spark of magic that sets them apart from your every day success stories.
