About the Author/作者介绍: 史蒂芬•赫勒(Steven Heller),曾擔任《紐約時報》藝術總監長達33年。美國平面設計協會出版之《AIGA平面設計期刊》編輯,亦是紐約的「視覺藝術學院」平面設計藝術碩士科系的系主任。為紐約時報書評撰寫視覺藝術專欄。
其所撰寫或編輯的平面設計著作超過百冊,包括《平面設計師之養成教育》(The Education of a Graphic Designer)、《設計解讀》(Design Culture)、《仔細觀看2》(Looking Closer)等。現定居紐約。
