罗哈斯回忆道：“当我从麻醉中醒来时，一名叛匪告诉我：‘克拉拉，别动……是个男孩。’”由于条件恶劣，那个男护士竟是用餐刀为她实施了剖腹产手术。而且由于他用力过猛，导致婴儿出生时一只胳膊骨折。罗哈斯说，她和贝当古遭绑架几个月后曾策划过一次出逃。“我们开始计划逃走，后来出现一个机会我们就跑了，” 罗哈斯说，“但当时是夜里，再加上丛林环境恶劣，我们无法认路，所以没能跑远。” 这次出逃未成，也为她们两人带来了“惩罚”。

About the Author/作者介绍： Clara Rojas was a lawyer in her late thirties when she teamed up with her friend Ingrid Betancourt. They were visiting remote districts in the jungle when were seized by Farc rebels. The guerrillas only intended to keep Ingrid but Clara refused to leave her friend. During her 6 years of captivity she gave birth to her son Emmanuel in the middle of the jungle and later was separated from him by the Farc. Once she recovered her freedom Clara and her son were reunited. Clara and Emmanuel live in Colombia.
克拉拉•罗哈斯（Clara Rojas，全名克拉拉•利提西亚•罗哈斯•冈萨雷斯，Clara Leticia Rojas González，1964年12月20日－），出生于波哥大。是哥伦比亚税法律师、教师。她也是哥伦比亚参议员（Senator of Colombia）兼总统参选人英格丽德•贝丹考（Íngrid Betancourt）的竞选搭挡。
