About the Author/作者介绍： 生于1974年的哈里特•埃文斯，在奇斯维克的穷街陋巷长大和读书。幼年成绩平平的她对阅读和戏剧非常着迷。唯一值得炫耀的是埃文斯曾在小学获得过5至18岁涂鸦创作比赛奖。

Harriet Evans works in publishing as an editor, when she is not writing books. The Love of Her Life is her third novel, after Going Home and A Hopeless Romantic, both of which were bestsellers. She likes old films, liquorice allsorts and the new cocktail she has recently invented, called ’The Harrie’(one part sloe gin to three parts sparkling wine/champagne).
