About the Author/作者介绍： 麗薩1968年出生於倫敦。她母親是位元秘書，父親是紡織品代理。她和兩個妹妹被帶到倫敦最北面帶大。她接受的是天主教女子文法學校的教育，後來在巴尼特學院學習藝術課程，後又在愛普索姆藝術和設計學院學習時尚插圖和交流。
畢業後，她曾在Thomas Pink的時尚連鎖店的倉庫做了三年的公關助理；隨後在傑明街恤公司做前臺和個人助理。1996年她開始寫第一本小說Ralph’s Party，1997年完成，1998年以企鵝出版社出版。這本書成為歐美市場暢銷處女作。
