About the Author/作者介绍： Heather Gudenkauf畢業於愛荷華大學兒童教育學系。在畢業後的16年從事各個年齡層學生教育諮詢，目前則擔任教師教學研究發展的講師。與丈夫及三個小孩居在愛荷華州的杜比克Dubuque。The Weight of Silence是她的第一本著作。
Heather graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in elementary education, has spent the past sixteen years working with students of all ages and is currently an instructional coach, and educator who provides curricular and professional development support to teachers.
Heather lives in Dubuque, Iowa, with her husband, three children and a very spoiled German shorthaired pointer named Maxine. When she’s not working, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking and running. The Weight of Silence is her first novel.
