小刺蝟好喜歡大樹！他喜歡待在大樹身邊，跟大樹一起玩。
但是有一天，醫生告訴小刺蝟大樹的樹枝長滿了蛀蟲。小刺蝟不懂什麼是蛀蟲，只知道大樹生病了，他好難過，開始哭了起來。他想用愛的親親幫大樹好起來，不過醫生說，除了親親以外，大樹還是得吃藥才行。
醫生把大樹生病的樹枝切掉了，還用好多方法治療大樹，也給他一個裝滿小石頭的罐子。醫生說，只要小刺蝟每天從罐子裡拿出一顆小石頭，等到罐子空的時候，大樹就會慢慢恢復健康。可是小刺蝟卻一臉悲傷的看著那個罐子…因為罐子裡有好多好多石頭…。
小刺蝟每天都來陪伴大樹，好多朋友都一起來為大樹加油，綿羊姐姐還帶了用自己的毛織成的圍巾給大樹取暖。但是日子一天天的過去，大樹的葉子掉光光了，枝幹也變成可怕的形狀，而裝滿石頭的罐子漸漸空了…。(Eva)

About the Author/作者介绍： Nathalie Slosse於2007年時罹患乳癌，一連串的癌症療程讓她和家人面臨極大的考驗。當時她的寶貝兒子才2歲，他為了媽媽，努力找各種讓媽媽早日康復的方法。有感於市面上很少有可以幫助人得以面對此狀況的故事書，她將自身的經歷以及對孩子最深的愛，創作成這部感人的溫情故事。
Nathalie Slosse received in 2007 to deal with breast cancer, a substantial period with a heavy treatment. At that time her son was just 2 and had to search for ways to disease and its treatment in his life. There was little material available for very young children so she decided to make the booklet that during this period had missed.
Rocío Del Moral踏遍義大利、比利時、法國等地，四處參與兒童藝術教育相關的計畫。她是許多寶寶書和小說的繪者，本書是她的最新著作。
Rocío Del Moral has studied visual arts at the Faculty Bellas Artes at Cuenca, Spain. Later on Rocío start looking for alternative drawing styles studying Cartoon Animation at the School of Visual Arts of Madrid. She combined another dream of her, exploring the world, with her artistic aspirations. Several European programs brouhgt her to France, Italy and Belgium. As well as in Cesena (Italy) as in Brussels (Belgium) she collaborated in different projects that combined child-education with art. Rocío illustrated a lot of infant books and youth novels in Spain and Belgium, with her latest album “Big Tree is Sick”.
