About the Author/作者介绍： 多琳•托維（1918年10月24日 — — 2008 年1月13日)是英國作家和愛貓人士。
多琳•托維住在薩默塞特郡的羅貝洛。她從小就由住在布里斯托爾的祖母和姑姑帶大，在她出生僅僅兩個星期後，母親死于流感。她的父親，一位經常不著家的工程師。

Doreen Tovey lives in a 250-year-old cottage near Bristol, the idyllic setting for her best-selling books. She has been president of the Siamese Cat Club and President of the West of England Cat Club. Her first book, Cats in the Belfry, was published in 1957, to be followed by more than a dozen further titles, and her work has been successful in eight countries.
Mrs. Tovey died in 2008.
