About the Author/作者介绍： 本書作者安娜.布蘭蒂(Anna Blundy)，早年是時代雜誌派駐在莫斯科的特派記者，曾於1998年採訪過戈巴契夫。現在移居義大利的安娜則轉而為報刊撰寫專欄。
安娜曾先後在CNN及SKY電視臺擔任過記者，並常在美國ABC節目《環球視角》(World View)擔任嘉賓。
安娜為父親大衛.布蘭蒂（David Blundy）所寫的回憶錄受到高度讚譽（她的父親在她19歲那年不幸在薩爾瓦多遭槍擊，遇害身亡）；而她其他五部以戰地記者紮內蒂為主角的小說也廣受好評。
