About the Author/作者介绍： Dr Stephen Juan美國加州州立大學柏克萊分校取得學士、碩士及博士學位。自1978年以來，任教於澳洲雪梨大學教育社會工作學院，並且主導該學院的學程。他的前作《Odd series》已經翻譯成24種語言。
Dr Juan接受人類學學術訓練，是澳洲普及學術研究的知名傳播人，也是非常受歡迎的演講人。同時是澳洲電視、廣播與平面媒體的常客，應邀討論有關人的各種主題，也常就澳洲版現場實境秀（Big Brother 2）發表分析講評。他也經常接受加拿大與美國廣播節目的訪問。
