These narratives are framed by the voice of Bladud - mythical first builder of the city, destined to die in trying to fly - and ultimately brings them together in a clever and brilliant climax.

About the Author/作者介绍： 凱薩琳·費舍爾，廣播員兼評判員，現居紐波特。她曾任小學教師以及考古學家。曾在格拉摩根大學教授兒童寫作。之後她開始創作詩歌並發表，並出版了三部詩集。1989年，Immrama獲得威爾士藝術委員會青年作家獎，亦獲得加地福國際詩歌大賽獎得主。1980年起，她開始創作兒童科幻作品，她的19部作品迄今已被譯為17種語言，並且多次被提名文學獎。
