About the Author/作者介绍： 杰基·厄本诺维克从童年起即沉浸在故事中。她来自说书人和喜剧演员家庭。而每次去图书馆看书时，更是让小杰基兴奋不已。她的职业生涯开始于平面设计师和插画师。2007年，她以作家和插画师的身份出版了第一部作品《鸭子来敲门》。这本书和随后出版的《鸭汤》成为纽约时报的畅销书。目前，她住在美国马里兰州银泉市，在她的工作室里，有两只顽皮的狗、一只可爱的猫——都是她救助的小动物。

Jackie Urbanovic is the author and illustrator of Duck at the Door. She also illustrated The Bully Blockers Club by Teresa Bateman and Horace the Horrible by Jackie French Koller, a Bank Street College Best Book of the Year. She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, and shares her studio with two playful dogs and one lovable cat, all rescue animals who give her lots of love and attention.
