So begins his extraordinary journey of more than a thousand miles up the eastern coast all the way to Egypt, by camel, by truck, by train, but mostly on foot. About the Author/作者介绍： Nadifa Mohammed，1981年出生在索馬利里（Somalia）的Hargeisa。父親經商，母親來自政治家庭。1991年索馬利里內戰爆發後，她被迫留在英國倫敦，不過也因此在那完成學業，取得牛津大學歷史及政治系的學位。2008年戰事稍微緩和時終於返回現在索馬利里共和國（Republic of Somaliland），目前仍居住英國倫敦，擔任電影研究及劇本創作的工作。
