About the Author/作者介绍： Hugo Hamilton was born in 1953. He grew up in Dublin during the 50s/60s with a German mother and a fervent Irish nationalist father. He has published five novels, a collection of short stories, and two books of memoir, THE SPECKLED PEOPLE, which won the 2004 Prix Femina Etranger, and the Giuseppe Berto Prize in Italy and THE SAILOR IN THE WARDROBE. He lives in Dublin.
