Jean-Baptiste Destremau’s novel is built like a counterpoint sonata, with three voices intertwining: Laszlo’s, coldly disturbing; Lorraine’s, edgily feminine; and her son Arthur’s, faintly insolent. A breathtaking thriller book.

About the Author/作者介绍： 尚 巴提斯特 德斯特摩，1968年生。
本身是業餘鋼琴家、受過科學訓練、曾在亞洲度過幾年，從事股票交易及金融工程師
18歲就開始寫作，並在雜誌Taille Réelle 及l’Encrier Renversé發表過短篇小說，也寫過幾部未發表過的小說。
