About the Author/作者介绍： 亚历克西斯·迪肯（AlexisDeacon），备受瞩目的英国新锐插画家，儿童绘本作家。从小就迷恋画画，深深崇拜莫里斯·桑达克、昆廷·布莱克和约翰·伯宁罕等绘本大师。2001年，他以第一名的成绩获得英国布莱顿大学插画系荣誉学位。2003年，以自写自绘的绘本《小小外星人》入围凯特·格林纳威奖，并荣登《纽约时报》年度最佳绘本榜。之后，又陆续创作了《当你睡着的时候》《鳄鱼和小鸟》等大受好评的绘本，并以《懒猴》入围蓝彼得图书奖。2008年，迪肯入选英国十大最佳新锐插画家，《泰晤士报》甚至给出“迪肯很可能成为约翰·伯宁罕接班人”的激赞。目前他以创作故事为主，经常与插画家维维亚娜·施瓦茨合作，代表作有《我是小雀鸟亨利》《你的奶酪》《一个叫做家的地方》。现居住在伦敦。
