About the Author/作者介绍： Chinua Achebe，本名Albert Chinualumogu Achebe，生于1930年11月16日，是尼日利亚籍小说家、诗人和评论家。最有名的莫过于他的首本小说《分崩离析的事物》（1958），现代非洲文学中读者最多的一本书。
C. L. Innes曾在澳洲、美国和英国大学里教授英语与比较文学，目前在肯特大学授课。她发表过许多关于非洲文学、澳洲文学和爱尔兰文学的文章。Innes最广受阅读的书籍包括《魔鬼之镜》，一本关于爱尔兰和非洲文学的比较研究（三大陆出版社，华盛顿），和《Chinua Achebe》（剑桥大学出版社）。
