About the Author/作者介绍: Beverley Naidoo是南非受欢迎的少儿文学作者,写过许多获奖小说,主要题材是南非的生活。她本人在那里度过了童年。1968年她毕业于约克大学教育系本科。
Naidoo曾两次获得乔塞特·法兰克文学奖――1986年《走向约翰内斯堡之旅》和1997年《无法回身:一本讲述南非的小说》。2000年她因《真相的另一面》而获得卡内基奖章。《真相的另一面》讲述的故事是政治腐败如何影响一个说实话的作家的孩子们的生活。
