About the Author/作者介绍： 本杰明•J•迈尔斯（BENJAMIN J. MYERS），1967年生于彼特里斯，在利兹大学修完心理学哲学后，迈尔斯进入位于桑德赫斯特的皇家军事学院，他在第一次海湾战争中任现役的军队指挥官。1993年，他取得伦敦大学法律证书，随后成为曼彻斯特的一位实习法庭律师，专门处理一些严重罪行。他同时也研究一些精神错乱型的犯罪和人权问题，本杰明现有三个孩子，居住在柴郡。Benjamin J. Myers was born in the Potteries in 1967. After studying Philosophy and Psychology at Leeds University, Myers attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He saw active service as a Troop Commander in the First Gulf War and is a qualified battlefield survival instructor. In 1993, he attained his Diploma in Law from the University of London and subsequently has been a barrister in a busy practice in Manchester, specialising in serious crime, often representing vulnerable defendants, in particular juveniles. He also lectures other legal professions on mentally disordered offenders and human rights. Married with three children, Benjamin Myers lives in North Cheshire.
