English Summary/英文概要： On the ten-hour sailing west from the Hebrides to the islands of St Kilda, everything lies ahead for Lizzie and Neil McKenzie. About the Author/作者介绍： 卡琳•奥腾伯格（Karin Altenberg）出生成长于瑞典南部，1966年前往英国求学，握有雷丁大学考古学博士学位。2001年，她发表一篇论文，获奖（Nordenstedska Foundation Award）。目前她是瑞典国家遗产董事会高级咨询师，也是伦敦Linnean Society of London会员。此书是她的小说处女作。

Karin Altenberg was born and brought up in southern Sweden and moved to Britain to study in 1996. She holds a PhD in Archaeology from the University of Reading. Her thesis was published in 2001 and won the Nordenstedska Foundation Award. She is currently senior advisor to the Swedish National Heritage Board and is a Fellow of the Linnean Society of London. ISLAND OF WINGS is her first novel and she is currently working on her second.
