About the Author/作者介绍： David Lindorff has explored two careers in his professional life: one in science, the other in Jungian psychology. As a young man he enrolled at MIT. During WWII he joined the staff of the MIT Radiation Laboratory to work on airborne radar in association with a group of physicists, some of whom were contemporaries of Wolfgang Pauli. For the next twenty-five years he was a member of the electrical engineering faculty at the University of Connecticut. His first book, Theory of Sampled Data Control Systems, analyzes the use of computers as a dynamic system component.
After retiring as an Emeritus Professor, Lindorff enrolled at the C. G. Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland. He has been a Jungian analyst since 1982, with a private practice in Storrs, Connecticut. Lindorff has contributed articles on Pauli, and Psyche, Matter, and Synchronicity in the Journal of Analytical Psychology. He is a member of the New England Association of Jungian Analysts, and the International Association of Analytical Psychology. He lives in Storrs, Connecticut with his wife and two goldfish, named Wolfgang and Carl.
