About the Author/作者介绍： S.L.鮑威爾于1960年出生于捨得蘭群島。7歲時，她隨家人遷到維特島，隨後在此度過的青少時期。坐著曾在船上住過很多年，目前與丈夫與女兒住在牛津。2007年，作者辭掉教師的工作專心寫作。出了寫作之外，作者還抽出時間擔任一家慈善機構的管理員。本書是作者的第一本出版作品。S L Powell was born in 1960 in Shetland. By the age of 7 she had moved to the Isle of Wight (via Somerset, Norfolk, Dorset, Australia and Dumfries), where she lived until she was grown up. She lived on boats for many years, but currently lives in a house in Oxford with her husband and daughter. In 2007 she left her job as a teacher to concentrate on writing. She now combines writing with a part-time job as an administrator for a charity (which is a lot more interesting than it sounds). Fifty Fifty will be her first published book.
