The movie Sur le seuil has been projected in 2003. Directed by Éric Tessier and scripted by Patrick Senécal, the movie rights for a U.S. remake were sold to The Weinstein Company.
About the Author/作者介绍： 派翠克.賽尼爾（Patrick Senécal）於1967年出生在德拉蒙德維爾。賽尼爾獲有蒙特利爾大學法國文學碩士學位，曾于德拉蒙德維爾大學教授文學、電影和戲劇專業。對於懸疑、幻想和恐怖小說懷有巨大的創作熱情。他的處女作5150, rue des Ormes，一本帶給讀者空前刺激的作品，出版於1994年，2009年秋季，本書由艾瑞克.特希爾執導拍成電影。2010年1月，該電影獲得Gerardmer國際幻想電影節觀眾獎。 Patrick Senécal was born in Drummondville in 1967. With a graduate degree in French Literature from the Université de Montréal, he has taught literature, film and theatre at cégep de Drummondville for several years. An enthusiast for artis-tic forms that use suspense, fantasy and horror, he published his first novel in 1994, 5150, rue des Ormes, a book of sustained emotions and tension. in fall of 2009, the book was adapted into a movie and directed by Eric Tessier and script-ed by Patrick Senécal. in January 2010, the movie won the Audience Award at Gerardmer international Fantastique Film Festival.
