About the Author/作者介绍： Catherine Barr is editor of Libraries Unlimited’s Children’s and Young Adult Literature Reference series. Her published works include Popular Series Fiction for K-6 Readers: A Reading and Selection Guide, Popular Series Fiction for Middle School and Teen Readers: A Reading and Selection Guide, and Best New Media, K-12: A Guide to Movies, Subscription Web Sites, and Educational Software and Games. She is also coauthor of multiple volumes in the Best Books series
John T. Gillespie, renowned authority in children’s literature, is the author of more than 30 books on collection development. In addition to the three volumes in the Best Books series, he is the author of Historical Fiction for Young Readers (Grades 4-8): An Introduction, The Newbery/Printz Companion: Booktalk and Related Materials for Award Winners and Honor Books, and The Children’s and Young Adult Literature Handbook: A Reading and Selection Guide.
