About the Author/作者介绍： Coner Kostick曾參與設計了世界上第一個現實世界幻想角色扮演遊戲。目前，Coner定居於都柏林，並在三一學院教授中世紀歷史。此前，作者已經出版了多本有關歷史、政治以及文化方面的著作。除此之外，Coner還擔任過愛爾蘭《音樂期刊》（Journal of Music）的評論員，以及兩屆愛爾蘭作家聯盟主席（Irish Writers’ Union）。

Conor Kostick lives in Dublin where he teaches medieval history at Trinity College. He is author of The Siege of Jerusalem, co-author of The Easter Rising – A Guide to Dublin in 1916 and co-editor of Irish Writers Against War. His fiction includes Edda’s prequels Epic and Saga,and Move. In 2009, Conor won a Special Merit Award from the Reading Association of Ireland for his contribution to science-fiction writing. In 2010, he was awarded the writer’s residency at Farmleigh House, the official Irish State guest house for visiting dignitaries.
