English Summary/英文概要： STRAW HOUSE, WOOD HOUSE, BRICK HOUSE, BLOW is multimedia friendly – it was the first book to be written on an iPhone, and Candlewick is marketing the book in a truly unique way: over the course of the month before hardcover publication, one story will be released as an ebook,then the second will be released as a chapbook monograph paperback, and finally a third will likely be released as an audiobook, all before the hardcover is released. Additionally, Candlewick will be sending out mailers to major book buyers with a beautifully designed 3-D pop-up paper sculpture representing the book. I am attaching a photo of the prototype of the sculpture (though the finished product will be in color). By drawing disparate audiences toward the full book collection, STRAW HOUSE, WOOD HOUSE, BRICK HOUSE, BLOW will continue its innovative approach and become a talking point throughout the industry.

About the Author/作者介绍： Daniel Nayeri is the co-author, with his sister, Dina, of ANOTHER FAUST [Candlewick Press (North America) August 2009, 379 pages; paperback Fall 2010; Tudem (Turkey) 2010; Metropolitan Culture Publishing (Taiwan) 2011; Chongqing Publishing House (China) 2011; XYZ Joint Stock Co. Daniel is a screenwriter/producer—his first feature film, “The Cult of Sincerity,” was the first film to be world premiered by Youtube, and later PBS, while his first TV pilot, “StartUP,” was recently bought by the Halogen Network.
