Jane Katch has been an educator for over thirty years, thirteen of which she spent at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, where she worked with Vivian Paley, one of the world’s most recognized experts in early childhood education. Katch has written two other books on child development and is currently a kindergarten teacher at the Touchstone Community School.
