About the Author/作者介绍： 傑瑞米．史坦葛倫Jeremy Stangroom
倫敦政經學院政治社會學博士。《哲學家雜誌》編輯與共同創辦人，目前是作家、網頁設計者與程式設計師。和巴吉尼合作過多本著作，包括《偉大思想家百科》（Great Thinkers A-Z）、《哲學家都在想什麼》（What Philosophers Think）與《新英國哲學訪談錄》（New British Philosophy：The Interviews）等書。台灣已出版多本他的作品包括：《你可以吃你的貓嗎？——認識自己，衝撞邏輯的25道思考訓練》、《愛因斯坦的試題!拓展眼界的解題知識》、《你以為你以為的就是你以為的嗎?：12道檢測思考清晰度的哲學闖關遊戲》（麥田出版）。
Jeremy Stangroom is a British writer, editor and computer programmer.
He founded The Philosophers’ Magazine with Julian Baggini in 1997, which he has co-edited ever since (dealing with the New Media aspects).
He is the author/editor of numerous books, including Why Truth Matters, written with Ophelia Benson, which was a Prospect magazine book of the year in 2006, and Does God Hate Women?, also written with Benson, which is to be published in Spring 2009. Currently he is writing a book for Continuum Books called Identity Crisis; and he is editor (with James Garvey) of Continuum’s new Contemporary Social Issues series.
He has a PhD in Political Sociology from the London School of Economics. And he’s an elected Fellow of the Committee for the Scientific Examination of Religion.
When he’s not writing, he spends his time messing around with computers, taking photographs, running and playing squash.
