About the Author/作者介绍： 海伦•辛普森出版了短篇小说集《床上的四条裸腿》（1990年）、《亲爱的乔治》（1995年）、《享受生活》（2000年）、《宪法》（2005年）等。1991年，她被《星期日泰晤士报》评为年度青年作家，并获得了毛姆奖。1993年，辛普森被英国老牌文学杂志《格兰塔》评为二十位最杰出的英国作家之一。如今的她，长居在伦敦。 Helen Simpson is the author of the short-story collections Four Bare Legs in a Bed (1990), Dear George (1995), Hey Yeah Right Get a Life (2000) and Constitutional (2005). In 1991 she was chosen as the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year and won the Somerset Maugham Award. In 1993 she was chosen as one of Granta’s twenty Best of Young British Novelists. She lives in London.
