About the Author/作者介绍: Joong (“Joon”) H. Hyun was born in Seoul, immigrated to the United States at a young age, and has since worked and lived in numerous countries in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
For the past two decades, Joong has worked with many global Fortune 500 companies in various capacities. His experiences include working as a managing director for an international consultancy, as vice president of Global Strategy, and as vice president of Asia region for a multibillion-dollar, U.S. based company. He received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, master’s degree from Northwestern, and MBA from Carnegie Mellon.
When not traveling for work, he and his wife YoonJeong (Kimmy) spend most of their time in the bustling Seoul metropolitan area and in beautiful northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC.
Joong (“Joon”) H. Hyun出生于韓國首爾,幼年時就移居美國。此後,作者曾在美洲,歐洲以及亞洲的多個國家工作和生活過。在過去的二十年當中,他曾以不同身份與多家全球500強企業合作過。例如,他做過一家國際諮詢公司執行董事,擔任過 Global Strategy 以及一家資產過十億美元美國公司亞洲地區的副總裁。
