About the Author/作者介绍： R.L.史坦恩（R.L.Stine）1943年生于美国俄亥俄州，9岁即开始了他的写作生涯，当时内容主要以短篇小说幽默故事为主。俄亥俄州立大学毕业后至纽约担任“斯克拉蒂克”（Scholastic INC.）下属杂志编辑，之后在儿童幽默杂志《Bananas》担任总编十年之久，同期并创作出多本受欢迎的儿童幽默图书。
