English Summary/英文概要： In this volume Danah Zohar and Ian Marshall envisage two scenarios. The first is business as we know it today - all short-term interest, short-term gain and isolationist thinking, with the material bottom line as king. The second envisages a business culture driven by fundamental values and a deep sense of purpose in which wealth is accumulated to generate a decent profit while acting to raise the common good. The emphasis is on "stake-holder value", where stake-holders include the human race, present and future, and the planet itself. These are the values of this book. The crucial question, which Zohar and Marshall address is: how we can move from one scenario to the other? They show how we need to consider three types of capital to make the leap. Rational intelligence (IQ) and emotional intelligence (EQ) are needed to diagnose the contemporary situation, and then the 12 qualities of spiritual intelligence (SQ) can be used to bring about the final transformation. The ultimate goal is sustainable capitalism within a framework of a more meaningful working life.

Chinese Summary/中文概要： 《心靈資本》（Spiritual Capital），不斷地闡述「由下而上」的量子管理學。此一概念所稱的資本超越了傳統資本主義所謂的財富、利益、利潤、權力等範圍，其包括的對象含蓋意義、視野、價值及深層目的的意識在內。「心靈資本」概念的提出代表一種典範（paradigm）的改變，它預告未來的企業將更具服務及價值取向，致使私部門與公部門之間的差異縮小。它也預告未來將有許多的企業組織領導者變成「服務型領導者」（servant leaders），他們所服務的範圍不僅是同事、部屬、產品及顧客，更擴及於社群、地球、人類、未來、及生命的本身。
無獨有偶，包括彼得聖吉（Peter Senge）、哈默爾（Gary Hamel）等管理大師，也都不約而同指出，新的企管思惟，必須走向民主化、由下而上，亦即，管理階層只需告訴下屬要達到什麼目標、有哪些資源和條件可用，然後充分授權。唯有如此，企業才能在充滿變遷與不確定的未來年代裡，確立長治久安的一席之地。

About the Author/作者介绍： Danah Zohar
來自英國的企業管理專家丹娜．左哈（Danah Zohar）曾在麻省理工學院主修物理和哲學，之後在哈佛大學研究所攻讀心理學和神學。1990年出版第一本著作《量子自我》（The Quantum Self），談論如何運用量子物理學的概念來分析日常言行，進而深入地認識自我、管理自我。這本書上市後，左哈竟意外接到倫敦商學院的演講邀約，從此開啟左哈的企管之路。
之後她便不斷受到來自全球各地企業的邀約演講，包括世界500大中的多家企業，如BMW、富豪汽車、摩托羅拉、飛利浦、英國電信、麥肯錫等。
Ian Marshall
艾恩．馬歇爾（Ian Marshall）博士先於牛津大學取得心理學和哲學學位，之後在倫敦大學取得醫學學位。他是執業的心理學家和心理治療師，也是許多有關心靈本質的學術論文作者。他與丹娜．左哈女士結婚。
著有《SQ－心靈智商》(Spiritual Intelligence the Ultimate Intelligence)(台灣已出版)、《心靈資本》（Spiritual Capital）等。新書《全方位智商》（Total Intelligence），大意是指IQ、EQ加上SQ，預計2009年底出版。
