About the Author/作者介绍： Jane Ray is an illustrator and author who has worked with a variety of publishers, but is best known for her distinctive children’s book illustrations. As well as writing and illustrating her own stories, she has worked with authors including Michael Rosen, Vikram Seth, Carol Ann Duffy and Jeanette Winterson. During the last couple of years, Jane has worked on a fabulous range of projects including The Elephant’s Garden (written by Jane for Boxer Books) and The Glassmaker’s Daughter (written by Dianne Hofmeyr for Frances Lincoln) in 2017, Corey’s Rock (written by Sita Brahmachari for Otter-Barry Books) in 2018 and The Unicorn Prince, written by Saviour Pirotta, which will be published by Orchard Books in February 2019 and Hummingbird, written by Nicola Davies, which will be published by Walker Books in May 2019.
