About the Author/作者介绍： 露丝•达戈达尔（Ruth Dugdall），华威大学英语及戏剧学出身，后又修了个社工方面的管理学硕士。从事缓刑犯观护员已有10余年。《眼前的女人》（The Woman Before Me ）是她的第一部小说，获得了匕首奖冠军并最终入围2011年度人类图书奖（People’s Book Prize）。
Ruth Dugdall studied English and Theatre Studies at Warwick University and an MA in Social Work at UEA. She worked as a Probation Officer for almost a decade, working in prisons with high-risk criminals. Ruth’s debut novel The Woman Before Me (Legend Press, 2010) was the winner of the CWA Debut Dagger award and has been shortlisted for the 2011 People’s Book Prize.
