WEIRD THINGS CUSTOMERS SAY IN BOOK SHOPS

Book ID/图书代码： 04300011B49636

English Summary/英文概要： ＂Can books conduct electricity?＂

It sparked from a question on Twitter by the great John Cleese [‘what is your pet peeve?’] and grew into Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops: a collection of ridiculous things people have said, written by one bookseller over the past three years.

＂My children are just climbing your bookshelves: That’s ok... isn’t it? ＂

From queries as to whether Beatrix Potter ever wrote a book on dinosaurs, to a person hunting for a paperback which could forecast the weather for the rest of the year; and from ’I’ve forgotten my glasses, please read me the first chapter’ to ’Excuse me... is this book edible?’ Initially blog posts, this full-length collection is illustrated, with a top Weird Things from other bookshops too. It is sure to be loved by booksellers and bookworms alike.
