About the Author/作者介绍： 罗斯•杜勃，在2008年由企鹅出版社出版了其备受瞩目与好评的处女作《风暴中心》，此后一直以音频方式出现在荷兰市场，后改拍成著名故事片。在澳洲文学艺术会的支持下，她即将在2012年一月由 Fourth Estate出版社出版其第二部小说《追逐》。 罗斯同时也是一名编辑以及创造性创作及新闻指导者，拥有英国谢菲尔德哈勒姆大学授予的创造性创作专业文学硕士，目前正于墨尔本大学攻读其博士学位。其著名论文故事：《自我探寻之旅》深入探究了故事的起源，其形态，其在人类进化史上的巨大影响与作用以及如何运用故事。
Rosie Dub’s critically acclaimed first novel, Gathering Storm was published by Penguin in 2008, and has since been published in audio form and in the Netherlands. Gathering Storm is currently being developed as a feature film. With the support of grants from the Australia Council Literature Board and Arts Tasmania, she has recently finished her second novel, Flight, which will be published in January 2012 by Fourth Estate.
Rosie is also a structural editor and teacher of creative writing and journalism. She received an MA in Creative Writing from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK and is about to complete a PhD at Swinburne University in Melbourne. Her thesis, titled, Story: Mapping the Journey to Self, explores the role of stories in human evolution, their origin, their shape and how we use them.
