About the Author/作者介绍: 汉弥什•比顿1978年出生在新西兰的克莱斯特彻驰。整个高中他都在学习语言,在坎特伯雷大学主修法语和日语。毕业之后,他在日本生活三年,在日本交换教学项目里从事教学。同时他在整个东南亚旅行,去过中国,印度等等。在大学时期,汉弥什参加了创新写作课程。在大阪的三年,他为当地月刊写作专栏,同时以日语和英语付印。目前他工作生活都在伦敦。
Hamish Beaton was born in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1978. He studied languages throughout high school, and majored in French and Japanese languages at Canterbury University. After graduating, he spent three years living and teaching in Japan under JET, The Japan Exchange and Teaching programme He has also travelled extensively through south-east Asia, China and India.
While at university, Hamish took part in creative writing courses. During his three years in Osaka, he produced monthly magazine articles for the local town magazine, which were published in both English and Japanese.
He now lives and works in London.
