ANGEL DUST

Serafina, the brightest and most beloved of all God’s angels, is on soul collection duty. On her list is the soul of gangster bad-boy Marcus Montague. Marcus is due to be shot by a rival gang leader, The Crow. And Serafina is expected to deliver Marcus’s soul to Hell promptly.

However, as soon as she sees Marcus, she falls in love with him. How can she let him die? Serafina hopes to buy time for Marcus so that he can truly repent, change his ways, leave his gang, his life of crime and atone for past wrongs. She knows – if he does – she can save him from Hell. The only sure way to protect Marcus, is to stay on Earth with him, and this she cannot do; for if she is to remain for longer than a few hours at a time, she will have to fall from Heaven and become mortal.

And there is a price for mortality: Serafina must sacrifice her fire, her wings, her brilliance; furthermore falling from Heaven is forbidden by God and nobody will help her commit such sacrilege. So ironically, it is to the Devil she turns for help.

Can Serafina fall in love without falling from grace? Can Marcus’s soul be saved? And just who is the mysterious and ever-so-helpful stranger Nick?

Chinese Summary/

(DC)
