BUFFY: THE MAKING OF A SLAYER: THE OFFICIAL GUIDE WITH PHOTOS AND MEMORABILIA

Book ID/图书代码： 01585012B54067

English Summary/英文概要： Marking the 20th anniversary of television series, Buffy: The Making of a Slayer is a fully illustrated and licensed book that delves into the creation of the iconic show. Featuring eye-catching—and appropriately spooky—design, a hardcover case, and an interior chockfull of awesome Buffy content, the book will prove a must-have collectible for every hardcore fan.

The license will make every effort possible to secure a Foreword by the legendary creator of the show, Joss Whedon, who is in full support of the project. In-depth text, provided by a Fox-approved author, examines the making-of process, exploring the characters, the mythology, and the evolution of the show. In addition to this much-coveted behind-the-scenes information, The Making of a Slayer features full-color images of every character and the most pivotal scenes—approximately 150 images in all. The book also holds a unique treasure for Buffy fans: 10 to 12 pieces of removable ephemera, reproduced from actual props and materials from the show.

Readers can hold an anonymous death threat to Buffy, an academic progress report on her grades, and pages ripped from important books in Giles’s beloved collection, among other items. This uniquely interactive format gives readers a sense of being in the Hellmouth, attending Sunnydale High alongside the pretty slayer and her loyal friends.
