It is a clever, moving, family story - and Rosie and I are both very impressed.
Thursdays in the Park was, as you know, sold in a lively auction between six publishers in Germany - to Goldmann who have already published - and is also now sold to Bragelonne in France, Allers in Norway, Norstedts in Sweden and Karisto in Finland. Film rights have also been sold (to a small, independent company called GFM Films) so we’ll keep you posted on developments there too, of course. I sent this title to you in November of last year but I am attaching further publicity with a blurb and review quotes to give you an idea of how this very successful debut was received.
