About the Author/作者介绍： 卡琳•萨瓦拉吉欧生于美国，现居伦敦。从小被当做军事小顽童养大的她在进入了著名的加州大学圣克鲁斯分校文学院就读后震惊了所有人。她拥有分子生物学和平面造型设计学位，并现为博贝克学院录取，攻读创作性写作学位。其第一部小说Walleye Junction 刊登在2011年出版在Mechanics Institute Review 的第八期上，《白骨灰》是其第一部长篇小说。卡琳与其两个孩子和宠物Schnauzer Seamus共同居住在伦敦西部。
Karin Salvalaggio was born in America but now lives in London. Raised as a ‘military brat’ she surprised everyone when she attended one of the most liberal universities in the states, University of California Santa Cruz. She holds degrees in Molecular Biology and Graphic Design and is currently enrolled in the Creative Writing MA course at Birkbeck.
Her short story Walleye Junction was published in the Mechanics Institute Review 8 in 2011. Bone Dust White, her first full-length novel, is nearly complete.
Karin lives in West London with her two children and her pet Schnauzer Seamus.
