About the Author/作者介绍： Karen Campbell 生於蘇格蘭的格拉斯哥Glasgow，寫過五本小說。畢業於格拉斯哥大學。因為曾擔任過警察，之前五部作品著重在社會治安的層面，也就是所謂犯罪推理小說。這本THIS IS WHERE I AM是她首部文學類型小說，目前她已在構思第二部同類作品。
Karen Campbell was born in Glasgow, and is the author of five novels. Awarded Best New Scottish Writer in 2009, she is also a graduate of Glasgow University’s Creative Writing Masters, and was a police officer before turning to writing. Described by the Scotsman as ‘a true literary talent’, her first four books focus on the politics of policing, while THIS IS WHERE I AM, to be published by Bloomsbury in February 2013, is her first literary novel. Now based in rural Galloway, Karen is currently working on her next book.
