English Summary/英文概要： It’s a frosty night in November as a group of passengers climb aboard the Orient Express for the journey of a lifetime from London to Venice. As they settle into the luxury of their cabins and take their first sips of champagne, they all have different hopes and expectations.

About the Author/作者介绍： 维罗妮卡•亨利是一名电影剧本作者，在从事小说创作前，曾创作有著名广播肥皂剧the Archers，Heartbeat, Holby City等。她的第四部小说《心满意足的单身汉》曾于2006年入围RNA年度小说。维罗妮卡现与丈夫及三个儿子居住在德文郡北部的一个小村庄里。

Veronica Henry has worked as a scriptwriter for The Archers, Heartbeat and Holby City amongst many others, before turning to fiction. Her fourth novel, An Eligible Bachelor, was shortlisted for the RNA Novel of the Year Award 2006. Veronica lives with her husband and three sons in a village in North Devon.
