Maria Ramey is a music therapist at Hope University in Anaheim, California, a non-profit fine arts school for adults with developmental disabilities. She provides group therapy sessions to clients with varying degrees of developmental and cognitive disabilities, ranging in age from 22 to 72. In addition she provides private music therapy sessions to clients with various disabilities and illnesses and has in-depth experience working with the adult psychiatric population, having created the music therapy program at a psychiatric hospital in Santa Ana, CA. Maria is also a professional flutist and resides in Anaheim with her husband and three children, all of whom are musicians.
